- How You’ll Make An Impact
- You will manage assigned bids, ensuring compliance with internal approvals and governance processes to secure high-quality orders.
- Collaborate with the Proposals Manager and Sales team to formulate winning bid strategies that align with customer needs and Siemens Energy’s objectives.
- Review and analyze invitations to tender and contract documentation to identify project drivers, scope boundaries, and key risks.
- Lead the Capture Team to ensure all deliverables are produced on time and in accordance with the tender program, maintaining visibility of bid progress and key assumptions.
- Engage with customers during pre-tender meetings and presentations, ensuring clarity and understanding of project scope and requirements.
What You Bring
- Proven experience managing the complete bidding process for multi-million-pound high-voltage substation or complex infrastructure projects.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to make independent decisions and recommendations to management.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a positive “can do” attitude.
- Background in transmission and distribution projects, particularly high-voltage substations, with awareness of customer drivers in the UK electricity market.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments, building strong internal relationships to develop competitive substation proposals.
