This role sits within the Grid Technologies Services Sales Application and Offer Management team and is responsible for managing the full bid process—from opportunity review and pre‑qualification through to tender development, proposal submission, and handover to the local operational team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality proposals aligned with customer requirements.
- Coordinating bid resources efficiently.
- Maintaining compliance with all tender specifications, company processes, protocols, and guidelines.
How You’ll Make An Impact:
- Review customer enquiries with the Operational Delivery Team to interpret scope and develop compliant, high‑quality tender responses.
- Lead bid strategy development, including Bid/No Bid decisions, and manage timelines and resources to ensure timely submissions.
- Coordinate input from cross‑functional teams—sales, engineering, finance, legal, and others—to produce cohesive proposals.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and internal protocols, with emphasis on UK&I HSE regulations.
- Support contract and pricing activities, including subcontractor coordination, legal review, and post‑tender negotiations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by analysing bid performance, identifying new opportunities, and supporting team development initiatives.
What You Bring:
- Experience in bid management, tendering, proposal development, or a similar role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with working knowledge of SAP and Salesforce.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, produce, and deliver compliant proposals in complex business environments.
- Proven track record in managing bids for complex service‑related projects.
- Skilled in coordinating proposal activities, including kick‑off meetings, reviews, governance, and final submission.
