As an Account Manager for Grid Technologies, you will be responsible for managing key Transmission and Distribution accounts (TSOs), driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction in the UK and globally. The role requires strong energy sector knowledge, relationship-building skills, and a proactive approach to business opportunities. Success depends on co-developing and executing a long-term account plan with the customer.
You will work closely with Siemens Energy’s global Key Account team, tendering, business development, and internal stakeholders to support a unified strategic partnership.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead a comprehensive account plan for a major transmission company, adapting through regular stakeholder reviews.
- Build strong, long-term relationships by understanding customer needs and aligning solutions accordingly.
- Represent Siemens Energy professionally to both internal and external stakeholders, promoting a collaborative and customer-focused culture.
- Drive sales growth across the Grid Technologies portfolio by identifying opportunities, shaping strategies, and meeting targets.
- Act as the main point of contact for the transmission customer, coordinating communications, resolving issues, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction through consistent engagement.
- Provide market insights through research and analysis, supporting strategic decisions and identifying areas for growth within the major transmission company.
