Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Product and Process Qualifications: Lead teams to perform Product and Process Qualifications (PPQ), ensuring suppliers adhere to Siemens Energy Quality Management Processes and tools.
- Supplier Involvement and Collaboration: Engage with suppliers to resolve process‑related issues, including managing and containing non‑conformances.
- Supplier Quality Supervision: Oversee supplier quality performance, initiate corrective and preventive actions, and drive quality improvement programs and risk mitigation measures.
- Supplier Qualification and Auditing: Collaborate with a multi‑functional team to assess and audit supplier capabilities, ensuring compliance with Siemens Energy standards.
- Monitoring and Communication: Continuously monitor and report on supplier quality performance, contribute to KPIs, and communicate any risks effectively.
- Technical and Engineering Experience: Possess a solid background in Engineering, R&D, or manufacturing, with experience in leading product qualifications (PPAP, APQP, or similar) and managing unexpected supplier quality issues.
- Quality and Risk Management: Proficient in quality methods (5 why, FMEA, 8D, RCA) and risk management, with knowledge of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO9001) and Supplier Quality Management (SQM).
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to navigate a global environment and manage multi‑problem investigations simultaneously.
- Commitment and Travel: Demonstrate commitment, collaboration, positivity, and a willingness to travel as part of the role.
