We are looking for a Senior Technician to join our Service and ESA team based on site at Grimsby. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering excellent service, ensuring Meantime Between Visits (MTBV) and First Time Fix, while aligning with SGRE internal processes, UK legislation, EHS, and quality standards. You will work flexible rotational shifts and travel as per business requirements, contributing to a growing team within a dynamic business focused on innovation in renewable energy.
- Actively lead safety initiatives onshore, in turbines, and at the Wind Farm, ensuring correct reporting of incidents, accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
- Produce and manage technical and safety documentation, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements for work packages/tasks.
- Serve as the technical lead for managing and delivering technical queries with Service Technology, customers, and field staff, including remote diagnosis of turbine faults.
- Ensure compliance with customer and contractual obligations while completing work packages/tasks, adhering to site rules and regulations.
- Mentor and develop technician competency for both customer and SGRE technicians.
- Maintain efficient timescales for service activities and assist in creating daily and weekly plans for site teams in conjunction with the Shift Manager, Service Planner, and Service Coordinator.

Qualifications include:
- Experience working as a Technician, ideally within the wind industry.
- Experience working with a range of contractors and customers; management experience is advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with SAP, MORS, and remote diagnostic tools is a plus.
- Flexibility to work shifts at the project location (exact shift patterns to be confirmed).
- Ability to demonstrate competency levels as a Technician, Competent Technician, Maintenance Technician, and Troubleshoot Technician.
- Willingness to be based on site at Grimsby, with a requirement to live within commuting distance or be willing to relocate.
