A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Senior Project Engineer you will define, support and drive the project / work packages for the assigned Design Engineers on all equipment design and specifications. You will work alongside the Technical Lead Engineer and the Procurement Officer on all subcontractor & supplier packages as well as handle subcontractors/suppliers\’ packages through delivery up to handover.

How You\’ll Make an Impact

  • Establish and drive project work packages for Design Engineers focused on equipment design and specifications.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Lead Engineer and Procurement Officer to manage subcontractor and supplier packages.
  • Oversee subcontractor/supplier packages from delivery to handover.
  • Ensure availability of technical, procurement, and quality documentation for factory acceptance tests.
  • Attend acceptance tests and evaluate supplier/subcontractor performance.
  • Identify and raise potential risks, variations, and opportunities with the Project Manager.
  • Prepare Monthly Progress Reports on work packages for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engage in customer-facing discussions to address technical queries and manage design risks.

  • Project Engineering/Contract Management experience in the Transmission & Distribution Industry
  • Strong understanding of Transmission & Distribution standards and technologies
  • Knowledge of Substation Primary & Secondary Systems
  • Good understanding of current Health and Safety and Environmental Regulations
  • Familiarity with Risk Management processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
  • Proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities
