How You Will Make an Impact
- Define and implement a compelling quality vision and strategy aligned with operational goals and customer expectations; represent the quality function in senior leadership forums and cross-functional initiatives.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of ISO-compliant QMS across all manufacturing sites; ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance through internal, external, and supplier audits.
- Embed quality assurance throughout the product lifecycle; lead FMEA, control plans, and root cause analysis; collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain to resolve issues and improve yield.
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies; lead cross-functional workshops and data-driven projects to eliminate waste, reduce variation, and enhance efficiency.
- Mentor and lead Quality Managers, Engineers, and Inspectors; foster a culture of accountability and learning; implement training programs to build expertise in quality tools and behaviours.
- Define and track KPIs such as PPM, COPQ, audit results, and customer complaints; report performance to executive leadership and initiate corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in leading quality functions within manufacturing environments, with a strategic focus on operational excellence and compliance.
- Deep knowledge of ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D problem-solving, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive robust quality systems and continuous improvement.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organisation and build strong cross-functional relationships.
- Experienced in leading cross-functional teams and driving cultural change to embed quality ownership and enhance organisational performance.
