Step into a role where your expertise will shape the success of every project in our UK & Ireland Gas Services business. As PMO Manager, you\’ll re-establish and lead our Project Management Office-creating the frameworks, tools, and processes that keep our projects aligned, efficient, and delivering maximum value. You\’ll be the go-to person for governance, methodology, and performance tracking across our entire portfolio, while helping project managers grow their capabilities through training and certification. Every day, you\’ll connect with stakeholders, oversee standards, and drive continuous improvement that strengthens our ability to serve customers and contribute to a sustainable energy future.
How You\’ll Make an Impact
- Develop, implement, and maintain project management frameworks, templates, and tools for consistent delivery excellence.
- Monitor project performance, risks, and opportunities from sales handover through to closure-ensuring standards and safety remain top priorities.
- Lead training programs, including induction for new project managers, IPMA certification, and coaching in our Project Management Framework.
- Facilitate portfolio reviews and coordinate resource planning to keep projects strategically aligned and well-resourced.
- Maintain PMO governance platforms such as SharePoint, KPIs, written procedures, and ensure adherence to global PM standards.
What You Bring
- Degree in Business, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Formal project management qualification (e.g., APMP, PRINCE2) desirable.
- At least 5 years\’ experience in project management, PMO, or quality assurance roles.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and complex project portfolios.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, software, and reporting tools.
