Overview
As a Post Process Technician, you will play a vital role in the finishing of 3D-printed metal components. Your day will involve operating specialist equipment, preparing and finishing surfaces to the highest standard, carrying out inspections, and working closely with colleagues to deliver safe and efficient additive manufacturing solutions.
Responsibilities
- Operate post-processing equipment to clean, prepare, and finish surfaces of various materials.
- Select appropriate methods and adjust equipment settings based on material type and specifications.
- Inspect surfaces before and after processing to ensure quality standards are met.
- Carry out routine maintenance on post-processing equipment to keep processes running smoothly.
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including correct use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
- Accurately document work and report any issues or defects to supervisors.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet production schedules and deadlines.
- Experience with post-processing or similar surface preparation techniques (preferred but not essential).
