A Snapshot of Your Day
As a key member of the Commercial Sales Team, you will take key role in providing commercial sales support, developing, and negotiating contracts within GSO SGT. You will drive efforts to support and improve the customer experience, both internally and externally, across all service lines, while securing profitable contracts with a high commercial quality standard.
How You\’ll Make an Impact
- Lead the development and implementation of strategies to identify and harness sales opportunities and improve the route to market.
- Manage interfaces regarding commercial sales activities with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Commercially lead sales opportunities across the value chain, from the bid phase through to handover to Project Management.
- Lead the creation and execution of pricing strategies and define optimal business models and contract structures.
- Oversee all commercial aspects of project acquisition management, including contracts, risk and opportunities, product calculation tools, taxation, insurance, contract text, currency exchange, financial instruments (letters of credit/bank guarantees), financing, and financial risk.
- Drive digitalisation initiatives to enhance sales efficiency and data-driven decision making.
- Responsible for the commercial part of firm bids and updates during the sales and negotiation phase.
- Ensure compliance with corporate guidelines (RIC, DLA adherence, LoA controls, FRG, NCM, etc.) within the Sales organization.
What You Bring
- A degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial sales or a similar role.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth understanding of commercial sales processes and contract management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
