The Head of Finance GS D GSO SGT is the strategic finance and commercial partner to the Product Centre leadership team. The role leads financial performance, commercial governance and portfolio steering across the global SGT service business and supports delivery of the Service Masterplan.
The Head of Finance GS D GSO SGT is the strategic finance and commercial partner to the Product Centre leadership team. The role leads financial performance, commercial governance and portfolio steering across the global SGT service business and supports delivery of the Service Masterplan.
How You'll Make a Difference
- Lead Commercial Project Management and Bid Management, ensuring strong risk, pricing and contract discipline
- Lead finance for the SGT Product Centre in partnership with Regional Service Units
- Own forecasting, budgeting and performance analysis, with clear visibility of risks and opportunities to ExU and RSUs
- Drive financial governance, controls, cost competitiveness and productivity
- Prepare scenarios, business cases and recommendations for leadership decisions
- Translate the Service Masterplan into financial targets, actions and performance tracking
- Build strong collaboration across Finance, Operations, Sales, Service and regional teams
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance and commercial organisation
What You Bring
- Senior leadership experience in finance, commercial management or business leadership
- Strong expertise in planning, forecasting, performance management and cost control
- Experience leading managers and developing high-performing teams
- Proven commercial and portfolio management skills, including pricing, bids, contracts and project economics
- Experience in an international, matrixed and operationally complex organisation
- Knowledge of service, industrial, energy or project-based businesses, ideally including LTPs, Parts, M&U and Standard Service
- Strong strategic thinking, accountability, collaboration and change leadership
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field; a professional finance qualification is an advantage
