We’re looking for a Senior AI Software Engineer to play a leading role, bringing deep skills in cutting‑edge AI to help us invent and deliver the next generation of intelligent capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead cutting‑edge research and development of state‑of‑the‑art AI models for Design and Manufacturing challenges within the Teamcenter Bill of Materials portfolio.
- Design, prototype, and build novel model architectures that push the boundaries of what is possible for our products.
- Architect and implement Generative AI agents that solve real‑world enterprise engineering and manufacturing workflows.
- Build robust, automated training pipelines that enable rapid experimentation, retraining, and continuous improvement at scale.
- Define and run rigorous evaluation frameworks and benchmarks to ensure model quality, robustness, and reliability.
- Turn innovative ideas into patents and shipped product features, partnering closely with engineering, product, and domain experts.
- Mentor engineers and set high technical standards across research, experimentation, and productionization.
- Strong track record delivering advanced AI systems from research through to production at a senior level.
- Deep, hands‑on expertise in modern AI, including large language models, generative AI, and agentic architectures.
- Proven ability to design and build novel model architectures and iterate rapidly toward measurable outcomes.
- Solid experience with automated training pipelines, training orchestration, and scalable model evaluation.
- Practical experience applying reinforcement learning in real product or research settings.
- Excellent Python skills and strong software engineering fundamentals for building reliable, maintainable AI systems.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, thriving in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional team.
- Experience with model fine‑tuning, RLHF, or building agentic tool‑use systems.
- Familiarity with retrieval‑augmented generation, knowledge graphs, or structured enterprise data.
- Experience deploying AI in Design, Manufacturing, PLM, or industrial domains.
- History of patents, publications, or shipped AI products.

Our Benefits & RewardsThe salary range for this position is £65,700 to £115,100 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
