Responsibilities
- Being key member of a specialist team responsible for the safe movement of all material movements around the site and within the production and assembly halls.
- Utilising a variety of standard and specialist MHE you will ensure the safety of your team and those working around your activities whilst supporting production activity.
- Working in advance of the production schedule, you will work as a team to safely solve issues, escalating problems as necessary.
Proven track record of prioritising safety in operational environments - Experience of working within an industrial or supply chain setting in a similar role
- Experience of using and solid understanding of different types of MHE, their uses and limitations.
- An understanding of supporting a production schedule.
It would also be helpful to have the following:
Optional Skills
- Experience of working with heavy machinery, such as cranes or shunting vehicles.
- Rail Industry experiance
- SAP or Similar WMS experience.
- Experience using a variety of automated stock management tools.
