Apply now for the position of Technical Team Leader (maintenance) and you will lead and develop a team of engineers who maintain medical device manufacturing equipment. You set day to day priorities, manage workload, and ensure high performance across maintenance activities. You act as the link between Operations, Quality, EHS, Planning, and Engineering. You ensure the site remains audit ready and you oversee the annual reactor processing plant maintenance shutdown.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach the engineering team. You set clear direction, develop capability, and maintain team performance.
- Plan and schedule day to day maintenance activities. You ensure the correct priorities are followed.
- Promote safety leadership. You ensure 100% compliance and lead projects that improve engineering and equipment safety.
- Ensure 100% Maintenance and Calibration compliance.
- Ensure that all the departments Non Conformances, deviations, CAPAs, and change requests are completed in line with the sites Quality Management System.
- Oversee the yearly processing plant maintenance shutdown and ensure activities meet safety and quality requirements.
- Drive maintenance improvement from preventive to condition based approaches.
- Ensure 100% audit readiness through accurate documentation and full compliance.
- Resource maintenance tasks for future projects and support cross functional planning.
- Hold full day to day authority for technical and managerial decisions linked to maintenance operations.
- Act as the engineering link to Operations, Quality, EHS, and Planning. You resolve issues quickly and keep all functions aligned.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and the maintenance of automated systems.
- Experience leading or coaching technical teams.
- Strong technical problem solving using structured methods such as 5 Why, Ishikawa, or DMAIC.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, process instructions, and quality standards.
- Experience coordinating maintenance, calibrations, and engineering interventions during live production.
- Competence in managing non conformances, deviations, CAPAs, and change controls.
- Leadership experience in enforcing safety rules, quality discipline, and procedural compliance.
- Experience with CMMS systems.
