About the role: We are looking for a graduate developer with a good working knowledge of Java and some experience or an interest in developing user interfaces. You will be working in a team with other experienced developers and will be contributing to an established data science user interface that is used by hundreds of companies around the world. The user interface encompasses a coding IDE for the SAS language and Python, a visual programming interface for creating data science workflows, and AI coding assistance.
What you'll bring:
- A first- or second-class degree in software engineering, computer science or related discipline.
- Some experience in the development of Java applications.
- Experience or an interest in developing user interfaces.
- Experience of writing unit tests for Java applications.
- Excellent spoken and written English language skills.
- An interest in mathematics and data science and some knowledge of Python is also desirable.
