We’re looking for a Customer Partner for our Automotive and Battery Vertical to advance strategic advisory and digital transformation in the Transport, Rail & Automotive industry. This role will see you leading business development, developing innovative strategies, and consulting engagements that meet client expectations. In this role, you will build trusted relationships with C-level executives, craft tailored solutions, and progress sales strategies that harness innovative technology for sustainable growth.

This role will be location independent, with regular travel to customer sites.

You’ll create impact by:

  • Engaging C-suite leaders in Transport, Rail & Automotive industries, building trusted, strategic relationships as a valued advisor.
  • Qualifying and nurturing leads, aligning client needs with tailored, innovative solutions through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Leading high-impact consulting engagements, delivering digital strategies and transformation initiatives.
  • Developing and implementing the sales strategy for key accounts, using Siemens and Advanta portfolios to drive promote sustainable, digital innovation.
  • Representing Siemens Advanta at senior client levels, fostering long-term partnerships and unlocking future growth opportunities.
  • Shaping market presence through thought leadership and targeted marketing to elevate brand visibility and influence.
  • Managing end-to-end sales cycles, from forecasting and strategy to negotiation and closure, ensuring client-centric outcomes.
  • Crafting differentiated value propositions, integrating Siemens and partner capabilities to address industry-specific challenges.
  • Promoting Advanta’s strategic role, positioning the business as a transformational leader and innovation partner.

You’re excited to build upon your existing expertise, including:

  • Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Engineering, Science, or IT, combined with a proven track record of strategic leadership and business development in the automotive and battery sectors.
  • Industry Expertise: significant experience in Transport/Rail/Automotive or Consulting, with a strong focus on operational strategy, digital transformation across R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain.
  • Technical & Commercial Competence: Track-record in strategy, operational, or technology-led solutions, deep domain knowledge, and a strong network of industry contacts.
  • Global Approach: Experience leading cross-border projects with international and multi-cultural teams, adapting to diverse market and regulatory environments.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Entrepreneurial, value-focused approach with excellent communication skills in English, and a collaborative leadership style.
