OAK Multi Academy Trust is seeking a Head of Estates to shape the estates strategy for its five schools. The schools are in good condition, with established compliance systems and funding available for investment.
As Head of Estates, you will:
- Join the central senior leadership team and report directly to the CEO.
- Take ownership of the Trust’s estates strategy.
- Assess condition, risk, and need, set investment priorities, and direct estates funding.
- Build an estates function ready for future growth.
- Collaborate with Headteachers and premises teams, supported by a central Premises Officer and colleagues across HR, finance, and the wider central team.
You will need to be visible across the schools, build relationships, challenge when necessary, and demonstrate commercial judgement.
OAK welcomes candidates from various backgrounds, including education, the NHS, charity, or other complex multi-site environments, provided they have strong estates/facilities experience, multi-site leadership, H&S and compliance knowledge, and the ability to develop people.
