You’ll be the behind-the-scenes organiser who helps everything run smoothly across estates and facilities. Based in South West London, this is a key role in a growing independent school’s Estates Team, acting as the front-facing link between the buildings team and the wider school community.

You’ll work closely with the Director of Estates and the wider team to manage compliance logs, invoices, and day-to-day operational requests. It’s a mix of coordination, admin, and communication, no two days are quite the same. You’ll be fielding requests from across the school, tracking statutory checks and certificates, chasing contractors, and helping make sure events and term-time activity run smoothly and safely.

This role sits right at the heart of the school’s operations. You’ll need to be calm, organised and tech-savvy, someone who spots what needs doing and quietly gets it done.

Is this you?

You might come from a property, contractor, or facilities background, or you might have supported a school, trust, or property team before. Either way, you’ll need to be confident using systems, organising records, and juggling competing requests. You’ll liaise with staff, suppliers, parents, and contractors, so strong communication is key.

What we’re looking for

Core requirements include the ability to manage multiple requests, maintain compliance logs, chase contractors, and support events and term-time activities. A background in property, facilities, or school support, and comfort with systems and record-keeping, is desirable. You should be calm, organized, and tech-savvy with strong communication skills.
