Your Role: As part of our operational development, a new vacancy has arisen for a Manufacturing Process Technology Manager position. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will be expected to drive process excellence, lead technology transfers, optimize manufacturing performance, and ensure the highest standards of quality, compliance, and operational efficiency across our pharmaceutical manufacturing operations:
- Lead the technical oversight and continuous improvement of pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging processes.
- Drive operational excellence initiatives to improve equipment utilization, process efficiency, and overall equipment effectiveness.
- Manage technical aspects of product transfers, including equipment assessments, gap analyses, process implementation, and project execution.
- Lead technical investigations, root-cause analyses, change controls, and process improvement projects.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of technical documentation, including Master Batch Records, transfer protocols, reports, and manufacturing data.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and customer-facing teams to achieve project and business objectives.
- Promote a culture of innovation, operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Lead, coach, and develop technical personnel to enhance capability and performance.
Your Profile: A tertiary education with a postgraduate degree in Life Sciences (Pharmacy degree or Pharmaceutical Technology are considered an asset). An extensive proven track record in the pharmaceutical sector, with previous experience in Tech Transfer aspects formulation and process engineering. Expertise and knowledge of the techniques applied in solid dosage form in manufacturing and packaging and statistical evaluations. A proven track record in leading improvement projects, problem-solving activities, technical investigations, and cross-functional initiatives. Ability in presenting information to key internal stakeholders and prospective clients on projects assigned. Strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
