As Media & Performing Arts Technician within Sidney Stringer Academy, you'll be able to make a key difference to a pupil's educational experience as a crucial part of the wider team, and will have the opportunity to develop your skill set with key training and development opportunities available.
- Minimum GCSE or equivalent in English and mathematics
- Qualifications in performing arts or media is desirable
- Experience of technical work within a theatre, entertainment or school environment
- Ability to perform tasks requiring working at height (e.g., rigging) and heavy lifting.
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in IT, media technology, digital film recording/editing equipment, including Apple Mac/PC computers, GarageBand, photography equipment, projector setup, presentations, and specific theatre industry design programmes
- Ability to organise and manage media content (photos/videos) for display Grade 4 - Β£15,111 to Β£17,176 per annum
