Location: Kapes, Sidmouth

Hours: Morning shifts (early starts required from 7am)

About the Role

We are looking for an energetic and reliable morning person to join the team at Kapes. This role is key to setting up the business for the day, ensuring everything is ready for a smooth and successful service from the moment we open.

Key Responsibilities

  • Opening & Set Up
  • Opening Kapes each morning and preparing the site for service
  • Setting up coffee machines, grinders, food prep and front of house areas
  • Displaying pastries, cakes, and products
  • Ensuring all areas are clean, stocked, and ready to go
  • Food & Beverage Preparation
    • Preparing and serving high-quality coffee and drinks
    • Assisting with light food preparation where required
    • Maintaining excellent presentation of all food and drink items
  • Service
    • Providing a warm, friendly welcome to all customers
    • Delivering efficient and professional service
    • Handling customer queries and requests confidently
  • General Duties
    • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the shift
    • Supporting stock rotation and replenishment
    • Working closely with the wider team to ensure smooth daily operations
