We are recruiting for a Full-Time Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team at one of our busy seafront sites in Sidmouth. This role is ideal for someone practical, reliable and hardworking who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation within a professional kitchen environment.

Shift Pattern

  • Shifts vary each week and will include a mixture of the following hours:
  • 7:00am–12:00pm
  • 7:00am-3:00pm
  • 8:00am–12:00pm
  • 3:00pm-9.00pm
  • 5:30pm–9:30pm

This is a full-time position averaging 40-45 hours per week, spread across 5 day working depending on business levels. Please note: this role is not live-in.

Role Responsibilities

  • Washing up and maintaining the pot wash area during service
  • Vegetable preparation to support the chef team
  • Deep cleaning of kitchen equipment, surfaces and storage areas
  • Ensuring high standards of kitchen cleanliness at all times
  • Supporting general premises cleanliness around delivery areas, external freezers and back-of-house spaces
  • Assisting the kitchen team to keep service areas organised and efficient

What We’re Looking For

  • English speaking
  • Previous kitchen porter or cleaning experience preferred (not essential)
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
  • Must have the legal right to work in the UK with relevant visa/status
