Mortgage Administrator

Location

Petersfield

Hours

25-40 hours per week over 5 days

Remuneration

Dependant on experience and contracted hours + bonus + 22 days holiday.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Mortgage Administrator to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys providing exceptional support to both clients and advisers.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring mortgage applications progress smoothly from initial enquiry through to completion, delivering excellent customer service every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting mortgage advisers with the administration of mortgage and protection applications.
  • Liaising with clients, lenders, solicitors and estate agents.
  • Obtaining and checking documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Chasing outstanding information and keeping all parties updated.
  • Maintaining accurate client records and updating CRM systems.
  • Managing advisers' diaries and appointments where required.
  • Ensuring all files meet regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Providing a professional and friendly service to clients throughout the mortgage process.

About You

We're looking for someone who

  • Has excellent organisational skills.
  • Has previous administration experience (mortgage or financial services experience is desirable but not essential).
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Is confident using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Has strong attention to detail.
  • Can prioritise workloads and work independently.
  • Is friendly, professional and customer-focused.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience working within mortgages, insurance, financial services or banking.
  • Knowledge of mortgage application processes.
