We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer / Magazine Art Worker for this role based in Ashford, Kent. The role offers flexibility with a combination of in-office and remote work and we will consider FT or PT for the right candidate. The designer will be predominantly responsible for creating visually engaging magazine editorial layouts, advert designs alongside project work in developing brand concepts, designing logos, web concepts and producing high-quality marketing materials. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with the editorial and sales teams, working on magazine artwork, editing imagery and working on design projects across web, print, branding and more, always ensuring consistency and creativity across all design assets.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Graphics and Graphic Design
- Strong skills in Artwork layouts for templated and new editorial/advertorial magazine design
- Strong skills in Logo Design and Branding
- Proficiency in Typography and layout design
- Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- Strong attention to detail and excellent visual communication skills
- Relevant experience in creative agencies / publishing or similar industries is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred
- Must be able to commute to our HQ in Ashford, Kent - fully remote working is not available for this role
