Here’s your chance to join Sidel as a Field Service Engineer. We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to work with SIDEL, one of the largest experts in Food and Beverage Packaging, Manufacturing, System Engineering, High Tech, and high-speed Filling and Blowing machines.
YOUR MISSION
As a Field Service Technician at Sidel, you will play a vital role in the successful installation, qualification, and testing of equipment, ensuring that our products meet customer expectations. You’ll be at the forefront of ensuring compliance with all technical, contractual, and safety specifications throughout each intervention, ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and Qualification: Perform the installation, testing, and qualification of equipment, ensuring smooth operations and final customer acceptance.
- Compliance Management: Guarantee that all equipment complies with technical, contractual, and safety specifications, adhering to industry standards and company requirements.
- Operational Support: Operate mechanical systems and HMIs for routine tasks and troubleshooting, always following standard operating procedures for optimal efficiency.
- Electrical Work: Carry out necessary electrical tasks to ensure equipment functions as required.
- Non-Conformity Management: Identify and resolve any non-conformities, ensuring proper handling and thorough documentation of each issue.
- Technical Reporting: Prepare comprehensive progress and technical reports outlining the work performed and any important findings.
- Customer Satisfaction: Play an active role in maintaining a high level of satisfaction for both internal and external customers, fostering long-term relationships built on trust and reliability.
YOUR PROFILE
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in field services, ideally within the beverage industry.
- Strong background in mechanical and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens, B&R, ELAU) is a strong advantage.
- Experience with Sidel equipment, including blowing, filling, and labeling machines is highly desirable.
Language Requirements:
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
- Willingness to travel up to 90% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
