We are now looking for a Language Checker Coordinator to join our Audio Post Production team in London.
The Role
As a Language Checker Coordinator, you will support the Post Production team in ensuring that daily “As Recorded” scripts are accurately maintained, transcribed and checked against audio files within agreed timelines. This is a coordination-focused role within a fast-paced audio post production environment. You will help ensure that active projects are organised, scripts are updated correctly, audio and dialogue checks are completed accurately, and key project information is maintained across the team. You will work closely with the wider Post Production team, supporting incoming and active projects while coordinating with a diverse range of internal colleagues and external linguistic talent. The role would suit someone highly organised, detail-focused and confident managing several moving parts at once.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Proofread and QA-check audio files against dialogue scripts through transcription and review.
- Maintain and update “As Recorded” scripts, including adjusting text and adding notes line by line where required.
- Identify and record issues such as poor pronunciation, incorrect text, grammar issues or script inconsistencies.
- Support the team in keeping project files, trackers, servers and LQA updates accurate and up to date.
- Assist with data entry, project tracking and day-to-day coordination across active Post Production work.
- Support management in sourcing appropriate linguistic talent for upcoming projects.
- Help train new talent on language checking workflows, practices and protocols.
- Collaborate closely with the wider Post Production team to support active and upcoming work.
- Follow individual project specifications, requirements and delivery expectations.
- Support the team with general Post Production tasks where required.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills.
- Good working knowledge of Google Workspace.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, tasks and priorities at once.
- High attention to detail and accuracy when checking scripts, audio and project information.
- Confidence working in a fast-paced production environment with changing priorities.
- A proactive, resourceful and team-focused approach.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work with people at different levels across the business.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Google Apps Script or similar workflow automation tools.
- Previous experience in audio, localisation, LQA, games, media production or post production.
- Experience working with scripts, transcripts, dialogue, subtitles or production trackers.
