Join to apply for the Freelance Audio Editor role at Side Description The Freelance Audio Editor plays a key role in the Post Production pipeline. In this role, you will complete technical and administrative tasks in a timely manner while maintaining high quality and consistency. You will support the Post Production team in meeting deadlines, achieving milestones, and upholding SIDE’s high standards and expectations. Duties and Key Responsibilities Independently edit dialogue for various game projects, ensuring high-quality audio output. Perform tasks such as editing dialogue, dialogue design, mastering, working with timing constraints, importing audio files into DAW sessions, and supporting the Post team with technical needs. Follow project-specific instructions precisely to ensure smooth ingestion of processed audio. Troubleshoot audio issues and ensure all deliverables meet technical specifications. Maintain strong communication with batch assignees and report any issues impacting progress or quality. Clearly communicate your availability and keep your personal tracker updated. Adhere to company security and confidentiality procedures. Understand and practice ethical behavior and business standards aligned with the organization’s values. Requirements Proficient in WAV file audio editors (preferably Adobe Audition and/or iZotope RX) and Avid Pro Tools. Strong troubleshooting skills for technical issues. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Effective and consistent communication skills.
