We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Class 1 HGV Driver for a full-time tramping role, operating Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will be comfortable spending nights out in the vehicle during the week and committed to delivering high standards of professionalism and safety. Key Responsibilities: * Operate a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle in line with company and legal standards * Perform nationwide deliveries and collections, including long-distance hauls * Ensure timely and accurate deliveries, maintaining clear communication with transport planners * Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance issues * Complete all required paperwork and logbooks accurately and promptly * Secure and manage loads safely to prevent damage or shifting during transit * Adhere to all driver hours and working time regulations * Represent the company in a professional manner when interacting with customers and the public Requirements: * Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence * Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card * Minimum 1 year experience of HGV driving experience required * Comfortable with overnight stays in the cab (Monday to Friday) * Good understanding of driver hours and WTD regulations * Excellent communication and time management skills * A proactive and flexible approach to work * Driver must be 25 or over * Maximum 3 points on licence Pay: Standard: £14.00 ADR Drivers: £14.50 Tankers: £15.00 Shifts: Start time 5:00am Monday Return to depot between 3:00pm-6:00pm on Friday What we offer: * Competitive salary with night-out allowances – £26.20 per night * Modern, well-maintained fleet with sleeper cabs * Weekly pay * Full support from a dedicated transport team * Opportunities for ongoing training and career development
