You will be based in the client's Global Intelligence and Threat Monitoring Team, contributing to due diligence, OSINT monitoring, and geopolitical strategic intelligence assessments. As a Threat Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering proactive, in-depth analysis of open-source intelligence to identify and assess potential threats and risks impacting the client's global operations. This role will optimise research and monitoring tools, leverage AI-driven technologies, and ensure timely alerts and notifications that support crisis communications and decision-making.

The position involves building relationships with the private sector, government, and academic partners to enhance threat awareness and response strategies in non-U.S. markets. This is an on-site role, working 5 days a week in our client's London office. The working hours are 9 am - 5 pm with rotational weekend coverage. When working weekends, you will get days back in lieu.

  • Brief executives as needed on key developments, trends and content.
  • Provide situational updates to senior management teams during incidents/crises.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to collect and prioritise internal requirements.
  • Develop and manage internal and external relationships to support risk monitoring and response, by working closely with the private sector, governmental, academia counterparts and networks.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Deep interest and expertise in geopolitical issues, including knowledge of global politics, security threats, criminal trends and reputational risk.
  • Deep understanding of global systems, conflicts, and pressing international security and macroeconomic issues.

  • Advanced open-source research and social media monitoring skills.
  • Ability to rapidly digest, evaluate and 'sift' large quantities of information.
  • Analytical, with the ability to provide rigorous, creative insight into complex situations.
  • Ability to produce high-quality, finished intelligence products within short deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Eager to learn, with an inquisitive mind and passion for creative problem-solving.
  • Proactive in setting expectations, outlining project goals and managing time to meet these.
  • Experience and strong interest in leveraging technological tools to optimise workflows.
  • Bachelor's degree (advanced degree, master's or above preferred) from an accredited university in security studies, international relations, business management, organised crime, terrorism, risk management, or related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in strategic intelligence-focused roles in the private sector, government, military, NGOs or non-profit research organisations.
