We are looking for a Crisis Technology Project Manager to join us embedded in our client's Crisis Communication and Active Threat (CCAT) team, supporting the Global Threats & Crisis Management (GTCM) team. The GTCM team employs sophisticated monitoring and notification technologies to assist the client during a crisis. You will oversee projects that construct and maintain the crisis communications framework used to monitor and respond to global threats. In this role, you will leverage workflow and technology expertise to ensure the highest services for GTCM and across the client footprint. You will also provide technological support to a 24/7 team of analysts spread across the USA, UK, and Singapore as part of a tight-knit operation providing actionable intelligence and advice to decision makers. This is a hybrid role working 3 days a week in our client's London office. The working hours are 9 am - 5 pm Monday to Friday, with the occasional out-of-hours and weekend work requirements to support crisis response.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects to advance GTCM initiatives by leveraging technology enhancements and implementing procedural improvements by gathering and synthesizing requirements for new technology enhancements in threat intelligence feeds, platforms, and tools to ensure GTCM's operations.
  • Support the CCAT and GTCM team in the administration and development of key systems, especially the Everbridge Visual Command Center (VCC) and other tools.
  • Deliver timely, sustainable, and innovative technology solutions to improve GTCM's monitoring, notifications, and threat management to include developing super-user knowledge of Everbridge, Ontic, Veoci, Jira, and crisis management tools and technology.
  • Coordinate with the client's Information Systems and Technology team, external vendors, and cross-functional teams to drive development efforts.
  • Build workflows, policies, and training to support crisis communications, specifically involving the client's Emergency Alerts.
  • Benchmark to establish industry best practices and apply standards for the team in support of the technology budget, tool maintenance, testing, and quality control.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in a related field.
  • Experience with crisis management systems (Everbridge/VCC, Ontic, Veoci, Jira or similar systems).
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in corporate security, crisis management, and/or project management.
  • 2+ years of Project Management experience.
  • Technical experience in mass notification tools (preferably Everbridge).
  • Self-motivated, and auto-improving individuals who can couple initiative and boldness with good judgment.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Clarity of thought and analytical flair.
  • Strong, demonstrable interest in security and intelligence.
  • The ability to work under pressure, demonstrate leadership when required but also be able to collaborate effectively in teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail, deep interest and/or expertise in the crisis management and business continuity fields.
  • Proficiency with Wrike project management software.
  • Advanced presentation and visual creative skills in Keynote or similar presentation software.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in providing concise briefings to management with short turnaround times.
  • Ability to distil complex ideas into simple tasks and execute efficiently and effectively.
  • Experience building partnerships and working with others to meet shared objectives.
  • Organized, methodical, and detail-oriented in all aspects of work.
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work.
  • Capable of anticipating challenges and proposing solutions.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
