Teacher of Science – Physics

Part‑time (approximately 0.6 FTE) starting Spring term2027.

Salary up to £44,564 full‑time per annum, pro‑rata for part‑time hours; dependent on experience.

We are seeking an engaging Teacher of Science with a specialism in Physics.

The successful candidate will have expert knowledge of science, the ability to motivate and inspire students, and will contribute to positive outcomes for our young people and the wider school community.

Key qualifications

  • Proven experience teaching Science from Key Stage3 to Key Stage5
  • Ability to manage a complex caseload
  • Strong literacy and ICT skills, including use of school databases
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiastic, creative and passionate about the sciences
