Role Purpose: Ensure the installations perform the desired operation(s) according to existing procedures and policies and monitor the installations to guarantee the delivery of a (semi-)finished product in accordance with the specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Handle and adjust the installations according to the existing procedures and policies.
- Operate pumps, open and close taps, etc.
- Fix alerts.
- Analyse and perform multiple quality checks of the respective products to meet process requirements.
- Identify non-conformities throughout the production process and address them with other employees to ensure quality products.
- Control the amount of products produced by an installation.
- Carry out auxiliary tasks to the production process, according to the procedures and their superiors.
- Perform small maintenance activities and assist maintenance technicians as well as electricians in large maintenance activities.
- Work in conjunction with weighbridge operators, bagging operators, etc., to ensure continuous production.
- Enter all relevant production data into the required IT system.
- Ensure the use of personal protective equipment and take responsibility for its safekeeping and conservation as provided in the safety policy manual.
About You: Lower degree in high school or equivalent by experience. Prior experience in a similar role. Technical English – read and comprehend.
