Job Description
Within the Cluster, the Manager Operations organizes, optimizes, and continually improves the operational, production, and maintenance activities, taking into account the Sibelco Values and policies.
The Operations Manager drives the operational organization to maintain and develop the mines, quarries and processing plants of the Cluster to guarantee:
Responsibilities
- Zero Harm approach to operational safety.
- First‑class service to the customer.
- Best competitive cost position (cost reduction, increased site yield, better value‑products, better processes, product management and production scheduling).
- Highest industry standard in terms of processes, quality, environment and legal obligation respect, and health and safety.
- Continuity in time of the mining and processing activities.
- Development of talent, competence, and career progression of staff within the area.
- Implementation of Operation Excellence principles and tools.
