We here at Siamo Recruitment are working with a growing client who specialise in the rental supply of essential products within the construction, festival and events industries, based in Gloucestershire. This is a family firm who have shown continuous growth over the past 10 years and are looking for a Yard Operative/Driver who prioritises quality and reliability. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to work for a reputable firm with blended responsibilities including site duties, servicing and driving.

The Yard Operative/Driver role will have the following responsibilities:

  • Driving to and from construction sites in and across the Gloucestershire area
  • Servicing, cleaning and replenishment of company equipment
  • Loading and unloading the products at the correct destination
  • Providing excellent customer services to all clients and handling queries
  • Ability to perform heavy manual labour through the day safely
  • Vehicle checks on the van to ensure the safety of use

The ideal candidate will have the following skillset:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Van driving experience is advantageous
  • Must physically be able to carry out manual handling/lifting
  • Can work independently and as part of a team
  • Great communication skills

Commutable from: Gloucester, Stroud, Tetbury, Painswick, Nailsworth, Wotton-under-Edge, Berkley, and Cam.
