Weighbridge Operative Shepshed, LE12 £14.50 Per Hour We have an exciting opportunity for our client based in Shepshed, LE12. We are looking for a highly organised individual to operate the weighbridge: accurately recording vehicle weights, logging materials and ensuring accurately completed associated documentation. The role is based at the depot in Shepshed, working Monday to Friday 07:00am – 16:00pm & Alternate Saturdays, and this is a desk/office – based role Key Responsibilities: Weigh incoming and out going vehicle accurately. Record vehicle details, load information and weights into the bespoke system. Issue tickets and required documentation. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with company procedures and legal requirements. Complete delivery notes, waste transfer notes, and other compliance documentation. Ensure all required information is entered correctly on to the IT systems Greet all drivers and site visitors professionally and courteously. Provide clear instructions to drivers with regards to the site rules and vehicle movements. Resolve customer queries quickly and escalate to management when necessary. Ensure vehicle comply with site health & safety rules. Report ant incidents, near misses, and/or breaches of procedure. Support the wider site operations teams where required. About You: Ideally you will have previous weighbridge or transport/logistics experience. You must have good IT/data entry skills, with good attention to detail. Be a strong communicator, dealing with drivers, colleagues and contractors. Have the ability to work under pressure and be able to manage multiple tasks. Have good knowledge of health & safety, and environmental compliance.
