Warehouse Supervisor 9am – 6pm Monday to Friday Bedford Outskirts Salary:£30,000 – £35,000 Temp to Perm Are you an experienced Warehouse Supervisor looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a proactive and dedicated individual to join our team on the outskirts of Bedford. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the daily operations of our warehouse while ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. The Role: – Liaise with the First Shift Team to address any issues or concerns promptly. – Conduct regular Health & Safety checks to uphold workplace standards. – Lead warehouse meetings with all staff, including discussions on Health & Safety points. – Encourage all operatives to report any Health & Safety issues immediately. – Ensure and report to the Manager that all employees are present and ready to work at the start of each shift. – Prepare for the start of the day by checking the warehouse for any contraventions. What We’re Looking For: – Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse environment. – Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations and practices. – Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate staff. – A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. – Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
