We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor / Warehouse Operative to join a busy engineering company based in Barnacle, Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a long-term position with the potential to develop within the business.

Initially, the role will involve a mixture of hands-on warehouse duties, including:

  • Picking, packing and kitting engineering components for stock and customer orders
  • General warehouse duties
  • Stock control and maintaining an organised warehouse
  • Goods-in duties
  • Preparing components and materials for production and sales
  • Loading and unloading deliveries
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and efficient working environment

There is also the potential for the role to include driving duties, making a full UK driving licence highly desirable.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced within a warehouse, stores or engineering environment
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking
  • Comfortable working in a busy, hands-on environment
  • Organised with good attention to detail
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ideally a driver with a full UK driving licence, due to the location and potential driving requirements
  • FLT licence would be advantageous but is not essential

The position is being offered on a temp-to-perm basis, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period. FLT experience/licence is advantageous, although full training may be available depending on experience. Due to the location of the site and the potential requirement for driving duties, applicants must have reliable transport and be able to commute to Barnacle.
