Siamo Recruitment are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our client who is one of largest retailers of car parts and working within their Inbound department.
Pay Rates/Shift patterns: All are fixed shifts and not rotating
06:00-14:00 - £12.21ph
14:00-22:00 - £12.82ph
22:00-06:00 - £14.04ph
Job Description
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play an important role within the outbound department team by always ensuring orders are ready to be delivered to customers. You will be a champion of customer service delivering through efficient coordination of warehouse stock and understand the importance of delivery timeframes.
Main Duties include:
Checking and putting away supplier-delivered parts
Order picking
Training on LLOP trucks
Loading/Unloading vans accurately and in a timely manner
Checking stock quantities are correct against computer whilst also checking stock is stored in the allocated bin locations.
Working in a fast-paced environment, labeling boxes
Standing for long periods of time
Some items can weigh up to 25kg so some heavy lifting will be involved
You will be trained on how to operate LLOP trucks as part of your development training.
Flexibility in supporting other areas within the warehouse including housekeeping

About You What you\'ll need to succeed:
A great track record working in a fast-paced warehouse, or similar environment
Ability to work well under pressure
A good team player
Work efficiently with good attention to detail
Understand the necessity of customer service & working to deadlines
Basic numeracy and literacy skills
Good communication skills
Knowledge of car parts and the automotive industry would be desirable.
Requirements:
A positive and flexible attitude. Self-motivated, always looking for the best in every situation.
