This is a warehouse associate role that benefits a talent with an interest in the automotive and/or motorbike industry keen to develop and use hand tools. Our client has launched a new department and is investing massively to ensure all stock goes out the door effectively and efficiently.

You will operate and work within all aspects of the Distribution cycle reporting to the parts and operations management team ensuring all orders are picked, packed and ready for distribution daily.
There’s more: this Warehouse Operative role will provide you with the opportunity to gain in-house forklift licenses, mechanical training and further qualifications whilst working for our client, investing in you to make sure you’re always developing. With a keen eye for detail accompanied by previous distribution experience being essential.
Throughout this Warehouse Operative role, you will be required to pick, pack, support the goods in/goods out function and complete stock takes to ensure the smooth running of our client's programs.
This role is a rotating shift:
- 07:00am - 15:20pm on a Monday and 07:00am – 15:00pm Tuesday – Friday.
- 09:40am - 18:00pm on a Monday and 10:00am – 18:00pm Tuesday – Friday.
This role provides hourly pay based on a 37-hour working week. Pre 12 weeks pay: £14.50. Post 12 weeks offers an increase of: £17.27.

This Warehouse Operative role will hold the below responsibilities:
- Crating and uncrating of customer orders.
- Managing and working on the dispatch process completing order tickets ready for distribution.
- Booking out products via scanners.
- Liaising with haulers to ensure correct loads and timings.
- Working as a unit to ensure smooth running of the dispatch process.
- Monitoring of stock levels and reporting to team leaders.
- Working in partnership with Pre-pack, dispatch, goods in and customer services to ensure a smooth running operation.
This Warehouse Operative role requires the below skillsets and mindset:
- Previous warehouse exposure is essential.
- Previous experience working with motor vehicles/hand tools would be advantageous.
- Previous exposure working with haulers and platform departments.
- Previous exposure working as part of a dispatch team is advantageous.
- Working competently with both computers and hand-held scanners.
- Previous exposure within the automotive industry would be advantageous.
- Full UK Driving License would be advantageous.
