Salary: £30,000–£32,000 per annum | Full-Time

Siamo are working with a well-known, local to Somerset client and assisting with hiring an experienced HR/Office Manager to work in their busy onsite office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leading a team, improving business processes, and ensuring that day-to-day operations run efficiently. You will play a central role in supporting the sales team and working closely with Production, Warehousing, and Finance to deliver an outstanding customer experience. Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the sales office, ensuring productivity, efficiency, and consistent service standards.
  • Support, mentor, and supervise office staff, encouraging a positive and productive working environment.
  • Take ownership of the complete order-to-invoice process, identifying opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and turnaround times.
  • Ensure office processes are completed accurately, consistently, and in line with company expectations.
  • Work closely with Sales, Production, Warehousing, and Finance to ensure customer orders are processed accurately and delivered within agreed timescales.
  • Maintain professional communication standards across telephone, email, and other business interactions.
  • Review existing procedures, implement improvements, and support the business through operational changes.
  • Coordinate staff training relating to new systems, software, and updated business procedures.

Experience:

  • Previous office management experience.
  • Experience with Sage 50 or Sage 200.
  • Knowledge of recruitment, employee development, and general HR processes.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and implementing improvements.
  • Demonstrable experience supervising or managing a team.
  • Experience supporting change management and operational development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A professional and confident telephone manner.
