Siamo Recruitment are currently looking for a Proposal Writer to join a dynamic Procurement team in the IT sector. This is an office-based role working from the company's modern UK office based in Bangor, North Wales. This is a permanent opportunity to join a great company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage timelines for drafting, editing, and approving proposal content to ensure timely delivery
  • Collaborate with Sales to create professional Statements of Work for client proposals
  • Coordinate multiple stages of proposal reviews and incorporate team feedback
  • Edit and proofread content for grammar, tone, consistency, and clarity
  • Support the end-to-end proposal process—planning tasks, assigning responsibilities, and tracking progress
  • Maintain a proposal pipeline, updating progress and records as needed
  • Review RFPs, attend planning meetings, and help shape strategic responses
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements and internal standards
  • Research industry trends and competitor offerings to enhance proposal quality
  • Suggest innovative ideas to improve the impact and competitiveness of submissions
  • Build and maintain templates for frequently requested services
  • Develop efficient workflows for producing recurring content
  • Uphold writing standards by using templates and best practices
  • Take on additional duties to support the team as needed

What we're looking for:

  • Degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
