Pay Rate: £12.75 per hour

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:00pm
  • Friday: 6:00am – 12:00pm

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Production Operative to join their Liquids Department. This is a physically demanding role and would suit someone who enjoys hands-on work and working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role involves working on a production line handling bottles containing cleaning products. You will be responsible for labelling products, packing them into boxes and stacking completed boxes onto pallets while ensuring production targets and quality standards are met. Full training will be provided, although previous experience within manufacturing or production would be advantageous.

Main Responsibilities

  • Applying labels to bottles of cleaning products accurately and efficiently.
  • Packing finished products into boxes.
  • Lifting and stacking boxes onto pallets.
  • Working as part of the production line to achieve daily targets.
  • Carrying out quality checks on products and packaging.
  • Maintaining accurate production records where required.
  • Keeping the work area clean, tidy and safe at all times.
  • Working closely with colleagues and supervisors to ensure production runs efficiently.
  • Following all company procedures, health and safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Undertaking any other reasonable duties as requested by the Production Supervisor.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Due to the nature of the products being handled, the successful candidate will be required to wear full PPE at all times, including:

  • Hair net
  • Beard snood (where applicable)
  • Lab coat
  • Safety glasses
  • Safety boots
