Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 pa
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Shifts:
- Position 1 - Monday - Friday 04:00am - 12:00pm
- Position 2 - Monday - Friday 11:00am - 19:00pm
Must have supervisory experience and be flexible to cover holidays & sickness.
Siamo group are recruiting for a client of ours based in Measham. We are seeking 2 organised and proactive Transport Supervisors to oversee the daily transport operations. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient fleet utilisation, driver supervision, and compliance with all transport legislation. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and has strong leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily transport operations
- Manage driver schedules, routes, and vehicle allocations
- Monitor delivery performance and ensure KPIs are achieved
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations, driver hours, and health & safety standards
- Conduct driver briefings, training, and performance reviews
- Investigate and resolve delivery issues, delays, and customer queries
- Maintain accurate transport records and reports
- Liaise with warehouse, customer service, and management teams
Requirements
- Previous experience in a transport or logistics supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of transport legislation and driver hours regulations
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage and motivate a team
- Good IT skills (transport management systems preferred)
- Strong communication skills
