We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join our busy production team in Sparkford. You will be responsible for setting up and operating Press Brakes, CNC Routers and Laser Cutting machines, producing high-quality components from materials including mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium and plastics. Working from technical drawings and bills of materials, you will ensure parts are manufactured accurately, meet quality standards and are completed safely and efficiently.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Set up and operate Press Brake, CNC Router and Laser Cutting machines
- Load and unload raw materials and finished components
- Check material size, grade and thickness before production
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and bills of materials
- Inspect, measure and deburr finished parts
- Sort and route completed components ready for the next production stage
- Complete production and quality documentation accurately
- Carry out basic machine maintenance and report any issues
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Work safely and follow all Health and Safety guidelines
