Position              Production Team Leader Manufacturing Salary                 £17.61 per hour with shift allowance  Job Type             Full Time, Permanent Role Location             Coventry, CV6 5TP   Summary We Are Looking For a Team Leader with good organisational skills in a busy Press Shop environment, with excellent communication and a positive, proactive attitude. you will be Responsible for leading a small team of production operators as well as managing the day-to-day operations of the area, processes, and systems.  Flexibility to respond and display with hands-on ability, FLT licence is essential. Supervise and manage, oversee daily operations of the team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively and targets are met in line with Quality and H&S standards. Develop the team, build confidence ensuring strong credibility of your area and driver continuous improvement on the shop floor. Driving Forklift Truck when required to meet production targets, with a hands-on proactive approach. Ensure the company’s requirements on housekeeping are met. Hold briefings with team members as required. Use maintenance system to identify tools or assets that require repair or refurbishment. Troubleshoot machine / Equipment or Parts issues. Pass off production runs as required. Setting of equipment (Presses or Assembly processes) in line with formal training Operating equipment when necessary to meet customer requirements. Manage consumable stock levels and ensure timely reordering.  Essential Previous Team Leader / Supervisor experience Background in Manufacturing/Engineering Strong people management skills (Including HR Issues) Basic IT Skills, including Microsoft Work and Excel with good numeric and literacy ability. Good knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety standards. FLT Driving Licence  Shift Pattern and Hours 37.5 hours per week, rotating Early and Back Shift   Early Shift – 5 day working week Monday to Thursday 0600am to 1415pm, Friday 0600 – 1230   Back Shift – 4 day working week Monday to Wednesday 1400pm to midnight, Thursday 1400pm – 2330pm   To apply please send your CV to (url removed) or Call (phone number removed)
