We are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking Refuse Collectors to join a busy team in Coalville. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for a long-term role, with the possibility of becoming permanent following a successful temporary period.
The Role:
- Collecting refuse and waste from residential and commercial areas
- Working as part of a team to complete daily collection routes
- Loading refuse and waste into the collection vehicle
- Walking long distances throughout the working day, potentially up to 10 miles per day
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Maintaining a reliable and professional approach to work
- Completing all assigned collections efficiently and safely
Working Hours and Pay:
- Tuesday to Friday
- Start time: 6:00am
- Finish time: Until the daily work is completed
- £12.71 per hour
- Pay increases to £13.05 per hour after 12 weeks
- You will be paid for 9 hours and 15 minutes per shift, regardless of whether the work is completed earlier
