Van Driver / Driver Technician (Ongoing Temporary) Location: Bedfordshire Pay Rate: £12.77 per hour Essential: Full UK driving licence and a Valid DBS Check

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and customer-focused Van Driver / Driver Technician to join our client's team on an ongoing temporary basis.

This is far more than a standard driving role.

You will be delivering, collecting, installing and maintaining essential healthcare equipment in customers' homes, making a genuine difference to people's everyday lives.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service and who treats every customer with empathy, dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities Safely drive a company van to customers' homes across the local area.

Deliver, collect, install and carry out basic repairs to healthcare equipment.

Demonstrate how equipment works, ensuring customers feel confident and supported.

Provide outstanding customer service on every visit, showing patience, compassion and professionalism.

Carry out basic DIY and installation tasks where required.

Complete all paperwork and electronic records accurately.

Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the company vehicle and equipment.

Work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, including participation in an emergency on-call rota when required.

What We're Looking For A full UK driving licence (essential).

Clean DBS Check

Previous van driving or multi-drop delivery experience is desirable.

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with people from all backgrounds.

A caring, empathetic and respectful approach when supporting customers in their homes.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Practical DIY or installation skills would be advantageous.

A reliable, flexible and positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A commitment to health and safety and delivering high standards of service.
