Automotive Manufacturing Production Technician

Location: Coventry

Salary: £29,000 – £34,000

Days & Shifts

• Rotating Shifts: AM – 6:00am till 14:00pm and early finish on Friday at 13:10pm
• PM – 14:00pm till 22:30pm and early finish on Friday at 18:20pm
• Permanent Night Shift: Sun 20:50‑06:00 | Mon‑Thurs 22:30‑06:00 (Plus £1 shift premium)

The Role:

• Lead and support a small production team to deliver top-quality results on time.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring processes run smoothly and efficiently.
• Solve technical challenges and support the team in troubleshooting issues.
• Train and mentor operators to help them reach their full potential.
• Ensure all safety, quality, and maintenance standards are met.
• Work closely with support functions to keep operations running at peak performance.
• Foster a positive, motivated, and engaged work environment.

What we are looking for:

• Experience in a high-volume automotive or manufacturing environment.
• A natural leader and role model with strong communication skills.
• A problem-solver who thrives under pressure.
• Solid understanding of health & safety regulations and best practices.
• Strong literacy, numeracy, and technical skills.
