We are now looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality financial services. If you have previous practice experience, a keen eye for detail, experience with Xero, and a passion for accounting, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Benefits:

Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (37.5-hour week)
Hybrid Working: Up to 2 days per week from home (after 3-month office-based period)

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Directors
Preparing and processing accounts
Completing VAT returns
Processing payroll
General ad-hoc work
Conducting bank reconciliations
Managing Xero accounting software
Supporting general finance tasks as required
What We’re Looking For:

3 to 4 years of experience in an accounting role
Prior experience working within a practice
AAT or equivalent, will consider QBE
Strong experience using Xero
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Locations commutable from: Cheltenham, Cirencester, Evesham, Morton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold
