The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to work within the Returns Department at a busy Distribution Centre in Measham. This is a varied warehouse role involving the processing and checking of returned items. The role will also involve using computers and internal systems, so we are looking for someone who is confident using a computer and comfortable entering information accurately. Some of the items may be heavy, so you will need to be comfortable with manual handling and lifting as part of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing and checking returned goods
- Unloading, moving and sorting returned items
- Checking products for damage or discrepancies
- Using computers and internal systems to record returns
- Entering information accurately onto the system
- Labelling and organising returned stock
- Moving items around the warehouse
- Completing general warehouse duties
- Keeping the returns area clean and organised
- Working as part of a busy warehouse team
- Following all company health and safety procedures
- Carrying out any other duties required by the department

- Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential
- Good with computers and confident using computer systems
- Comfortable entering information accurately
